NeironHub AI Expert standards and code of conduct
This AI Expert Standards and Code of Conduct (the “Code”) is mandatory. Every AI Expert accepts it during onboarding and is expected to uphold it throughout every engagement. It is Schedule G to, and forms part of, the NeironHub Terms of Service (the “ToS”), and works alongside the Privacy Policy (Schedule B), the Payment, Milestone Protection & Refund Terms (Schedule C), the Acceptable Use & AI Policy (Schedule D), the DMCA & IP Takedown Policy (Schedule E), and the AI Expert Agreement (Schedule F). Capitalized terms not defined here have the meanings given in the ToS. If this Code conflicts with the ToS, the AI Expert Agreement, or another incorporated Policy that specifically governs the relevant subject matter, the order-of-precedence provision in the ToS applies.
Our expectations
NeironHub connects businesses with verified AI Experts for structured, milestone-protected projects. Clients rely on that verification as a mark of trust. This Code sets the professional, ethical, and security standards that protect clients, protect your reputation, and protect the integrity of the platform.
1. Confidentiality
Keep all client information, project details, and deliverables strictly confidential. Mutual confidentiality obligations apply automatically from the earlier of Project acceptance or the first authorized exchange of non-public information through the Platform. A separate NDA is generally not required for standard engagements, though a client may request additional confidentiality, data-processing, or security terms where appropriate.
Use client information only for the purpose of delivering the engagement.
Do not disclose, publish, or reuse a client’s confidential materials, data, or results without the client’s explicit written permission.
2. On-platform conduct and non-circumvention
Keep project agreements, commercial terms, scope changes, approvals, deliverable submissions, and payments documented on NeironHub. Platform-mediated calls (requested and scheduled through NeironHub) may be used for discussion, clarification, and delivery coordination. External collaboration tools (for example, code repositories or client systems) may also be used when reasonably required for delivery. In all cases, material decisions affecting scope, timing, cost, acceptance, or payment must be recorded on NeironHub.
Do not share personal contact or payment details for the purpose of circumventing the platform’s fees or protections. NeironHub provides confidential communication channels for routine project coordination.
Any direct or indirect attempt to circumvent the platform may result in suspension, delayed release of unreleased or pending milestone amounts where permitted under the platform agreements and applicable law, and legal remedies.
3. Professionalism and respect
Communicate clearly, promptly, and respectfully with clients and with the NeironHub team.
Treat every client and colleague fairly, without discrimination or harassment on any basis, including race, gender, religion, nationality, disability, age, or any other characteristic protected by applicable law.
Set realistic expectations, and raise problems, risks, and delays early rather than letting them surprise the client.
4. Honesty and accurate representation
Represent your skills, experience, credentials, and capacity accurately. Do not overstate expertise or claim work that is not your own.
Scope proposals honestly. Do not promise outcomes you cannot reasonably deliver or guarantee results you have not validated against the client’s data and systems.
Keep your profile current and truthful.
5. Original work and intellectual property
Deliver original work, and respect the intellectual property rights of clients, third parties, and other AI Experts.
Do not use another party’s proprietary code, data, models, or materials without proper authorization or licence.
Intellectual-property ownership and licensing follow the split-IP model set out in the AI Expert Agreement and the Statement of Work.
6. Responsible use of AI
You may use AI tools in your work. You remain fully accountable for the quality, safety, accuracy, and originality of everything you deliver.
Review and validate AI-generated output before delivery. Do not pass off unverified or unsafe output as finished work.
Be transparent with clients about material reliance on third-party AI systems where it affects the deliverable, data handling, or ongoing operation.
Respect data-use and privacy obligations when using AI tools, and do not input a client’s confidential data into systems that are not authorized for the engagement.
7. Prohibited and high-risk AI applications
Do not build or support AI intended to deceive, defraud, harm, unlawfully surveil, or discriminate against people, or that violates applicable law.
High-risk AI applications, including medical AI, legal AI, financial decisioning, hiring algorithms, and critical infrastructure systems, require enhanced safeguards, human oversight, and NeironHub’s prior written approval before engagement. To request approval, contact NeironHub at support@neironhub.ai before submitting a proposal. NeironHub will review the use case and confirm any required safeguards and conditions.
If you are unsure whether an engagement is high-risk, ask before proceeding.
8. Data protection and security
Handle all client and project data securely, in line with the Privacy Policy, the AI Expert Agreement, and any project-specific data terms.
Use appropriate safeguards for storage, access, and transfer, and limit access to those who need it for the engagement.
Report any suspected security incident or data exposure to NeironHub promptly at security@neironhub.ai.
9. Compliance with laws
Comply with all laws and regulations applicable to you and to the engagement, including those governing data protection, export controls, intellectual property, and the client’s regulated industry where relevant.
10. Enforcement and platform review
NeironHub may review platform activity and project records where reasonably necessary to enforce platform standards, investigate reports, protect users, or comply with law, as described in the Privacy Policy and platform terms. Violations of these standards may result in:
- A formal warning and required corrective action;
- Suspension or termination of your AI Expert account;
- Delayed release of unreleased or pending milestone amounts where permitted under the platform agreements and applicable law;
- Reporting to authorities where required by law, and other legal remedies.
NeironHub does not ordinarily delay or withhold a payout merely as a penalty where the applicable work has been completed and accepted. Any delay, hold, reversal, refund, or other payment handling must be permitted under the Payment Terms, applicable processor requirements, and applicable law.
NeironHub applies these standards to protect clients, AI Experts, and the integrity of the platform.
Acceptance
By accepting this Code during onboarding, you confirm that you have read, understood, and agree to uphold these standards in every NeironHub engagement. NeironHub records your acceptance, including the version accepted and the date, and may require you to re-accept when the Code is materially updated.
